I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Janet & Martin in the beautiful small French inspired town of Akaroa, just 1 hour out of Christchurch. Janet is the workmate of my mum, who care the Intellectually Disabled in their home environment. For this wedding to happen, a few chances were taken. Ocean’s crossed, and a life left to embark on an even better one. Martin took those brave steps coming from England to meet Janet here in New Zealand. I hope you both have a very happy life together and your story continues to inspire.
Janet will wear a lovely gold band and Martin a wrist bracelet.
These remind me of Dorothy and the yellow brick road.
And I qoute " Can we looking lovingly into each other's eyes?"
The sweet little St Peter's Anglican Church in Akaroa.
The forever beautiful part where the love and life of each other are declared.
The gorgeous interior of the church, as the ceremony continues.
Thanks for such a fabulous day Janet & Martin, it was a pleasure to be apart of it and I wish you all the best for the future.
