Portraits: Mark & Lauren Lincoln

Lauren is the cousin of my other half, Doug. Mark and Lauren were married November 2008 and as you can see they settled into married life wonderfully.

We headed just past Sumner into the Scarbrough area of Christchurch. It’s already a lot of fun hanging out with these two, with Mark’s dry witty humour and the warm atmosphere Mark and Lauren create just being together. I am so incredibly excited about these images. You guys are amazing friends as well as family to Doug and I.

Happy 1 Years Anniversary for next month guys.

Lauren said to me from afar "Heather, if you were thinking of bringing brides here..I wouldn't advise it!"- Well I wasn't planning it Lauren, but then you did go onto say that it was worth climbing over the rocks for the images produced! lol

When I took this, I was fully envisioning Mark as Tom Cruises character in Top Gun - which is weird, because I haven't even seen that movie! lol

A bit of fun and games, Mark got in a lick and wen back for more... Brave Mark!

This image expresses a happy and healthy marriage to me: Mark listens to Lauren, without Lauren having to say anything at all.

What a way the end the afternoon, I was waiting for the sun to go down and I'm glad we had time to stick around, because this was soooooo worth it! Just look at those gorgeous colours! Thanks to Mark and Lauren for being a model couple, I had a great afternoon hanging out. And Thanks to Doug was carrying my bags and remembering my head when it falls off my shoulders!
