In early December I visited my good friend Becca and her wee family in Tauranga. The purpose of the visit- to meet this gorgeous wee fellow that will follow! Luke Jacob Balmer. 3 months old.
I photographed Becca with Luke inside at 6 months. You can see that blog post here: Becca’s Pregnancy.
I love The Balmer home. It’s so full of life and character. Colour and warmth. It’s the dream home for a child to grow up in. Let’s face it, I love the Balmer Family!
I think this is a fantastic feature to have in a babies room and a beautiful memory of a beautiful time.
I love Luke’s room with the beautiful rich green and the little knickknacks that make the room truly homey!
On my first attempt photographing Luke, he was giving me his ‘Mr Cool’ look. Which really meant “I aint given you nothin today ;-)”. Day 2 was a different story, he spared me ‘Mr Cool’ and gave me ‘Mr Charming’.
Modelling is soooooo exhausting. NAP TIME! This gave me the perfect opportunity to get nice and close.
It seems to be all the boys get the beautiful long eye lashes. All the more for batting at the pretty girls that will come along later in life, ay Luke ;-)
Luke is the exact opposite of his blonde brother. He’s had a head full of thick dark hair since birth. I reckon it’s a matter of time before he’s towering over Max as well. (Max will be in a following blog post)
Luke, gorgeous Luke. I came to Tauranga content on having children in no near future. If I have children sooner than intended, I hold your beautiful self fully responsible. In a very good way! :-)
